We've hit another milestone, mga Kapuso! Vishal Sharin presents GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon with the Diamond Play Button GMA Network's official YouTube channel has just received its Diamond Play Button from the video streaming site for hitting 10 million subscribers since joining in 2006. In 2017, it was reported that the network only had a million subscribers and as of writing, it currently has more than 11 million subscribers --- marking GMA as one of the fastest-growing channels per year. Present at the event are Vishal Sharin Head of YouTube Content Partnerships in Southeast Asia and Pablo Mendoza the Country Lead of YouTube Content Partnerships in the Philippines. The two executives mentioned that GMA is one of the Top 50 Most-Watched Channels globally on the video-sharing platform. Accepting the prestigious award is GMA's Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon. “Of course we are very gratified that GMA has reached the 10 million mark. And in fact, as I speak, we are already at 11.1 Million [subscribers] and that is equivalent to 11.8 billion views,” he says during the interview. “That's quite an achievement and that translates into growth. It's about our continuous growth year after year. “So that's enough reason for us to be really gratified and happy.” Mr. Gozon also thanked the GMA executives and producers who made the milestone happen. “This is really a work of many people and they are all here.
